Give your puppy the best possible start. Our AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Kindergarten is a fun, confidence-building class designed for puppies 8 weeks to 1 year old. This program focuses on early socialization, basic manners, and real-life skills that help puppies grow into well-behaved, happy companions.

Using positive, reward-based training, puppies learn essential skills such as focus/attention, sit, down, coming when called, leash walking, polite greetings, and comfort with handling and grooming. Exposure to new people, sounds, and environments help build confidence during this critical developmental stage.

The final class includes the official AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Test, which evaluates both puppy skills and responsible ownership. Puppies who pass earn the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy title, a nationally recognized first step toward AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) training.
